Speed up your computer

Everybody want to speed up his computer. For speed up computer we need do the following thing:

1. Use the Latest version of Operation System: Operating system is the hearth of computer. Please remember that latest operating system is more faster than the your previous operating system and security feature is enhances than the previous operating system. So we need to use the new operating system for speed up our computer.Please note operating system must have licenses from the manufactures.

2. Use the latest drivers: Always use the latest drivers for your computer.

3. Enable windows update: We need to enable the windows update.If we enable the setting windows automatically check for the necessary update.

4. Disk Clean Up: Unwanted files are assembled in temp, %temp%, recent folder and other folder. You can delete unnecessary file by using CCleaner . It is a free tools that help to speed up your computer by cleaning the unnecessary files, you can manage your computer start up items by using it. You can security erase the hard disk drive by using it.

4. Manage your start up item : Manage the start up item is one of the way for rapid computer start up.Disable the unnecessary start up item. For this type msconfig in the run button and press Enter button
then click start up then select the program that badly needed with the computer start up

6. Defragment your disk: Disk defragment will increase your computer performance. Windows has default disk defragment tools to defragment the disk drive. But windows default tools require takes more time to do this jobs. I recommend the Defraggler. It is a free tools that rapidly do this jobs.

7. Use Dual core processor:
Do you have a dual-core or quad-core processor? Great, let’s lower the boot time of Windows 7:
  Click on Start, enter “msconfig” into the search field
  Open the “boot” tab
  Click on Advanced
  Check “Number of proccessors” and select “2″ or “4″ from the dropdown menu. (obviously, you can only select it if you have a dual-core/quad-core)

 It will speed up computer start up time and performance.

8.Change Taskbar Thumbnail Preview Time:

Click on Start, enter “regedit” into the search field.
Goto: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse

Double-click on “MouseHoverTime” and change the value to 100 or lower:

9.Speed Up Windows 7 Shutdown Time:

For the rapid shutdown follow the instruction:

Open the registry editor (enter regedit into search field)
Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control”
ower the value (12000 is the default value = 12 seconds) to a value of your choice
